Edinburgh City Council require trees/hedges to be trimmed back to allow access to street lights. The teams need enough space to access the light column so that they can remove the old one and replace it with a new one, this service will ensure that your tree/hedge (whichever you have purchased) will be cut back to match council requirements to allow the installation of the new street lights.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to contact everyone individually to confirm when the work will be carried out. However we will contact Edinburgh City Council on your behalf and make them aware that you have opted for this service, which should negate the need for any further action on your part.
