Chainsaw carving: stunning new bench delivered to Corrieshalloch Gorge National Nature Reserve

Tom Dixon, Managing Director of TD Trees was commissioned to create a magnificent new chainsaw carving for The National Trust for Scotland. The newly carved bench was made from a single piece of oak. It was installed on a fairly dreich November day but looks great in its new home at the dramatic Corrieshalloch Gorge National Nature Reserve. This is Tom’s third commission for the NTS – others include a similar bench and a huge pinecone for Threave Garden in Dumfries & Galloway.
